Hundreds Protest To Keep Westfeld Hospital Open

"Save our hospital..." That`s the message Chautauqua County residents are hoping to get across to New York State Officials. Hundreds marched the streets of Westfield, Saturday, rallying to keep their local hospital open. Beginning January 1st, all inpatient beds will close at New York`s Westfield Memorial Hospital. It`s a situation that could pose problems for the quality of health care in Chautauqua County. For Erie, this means many of those patients will have to re-route their health care here to Hamot or St. Vincent. Protesters hope the government will take a second look at reducing these services.
