Wattsburg Contract

Wattsburg Area teachers have rejected another offer regarding contracts. On Friday, members of the Wattsburg Education Association voted and overwhelmingly rejected the Wattsburg Area School District`s latest contract offer. The Wattsburg Education Association and the Wattsburg Area School Board negotiated for 10 hours on Thursday trying to reach a contract agreement. Some of the still unresolved issues include health care costs and smaller class sizes. Wattsburg teachers have been without a contract since June of 2006.
