Fire Destroys Millcreek Home

An early morning fire destroyed a Millcreek residence on Christmas day. The West Ridge volunteer fire department responded to a blaze at 1507 Shenk Avenue shortly before four o`clock this morning. Two men who lived in the home were not hurt in the incident, the home is a total loss. Neighbors say they woke up to bright flashes of orange light and flames, and say the trailer destroyed in about 20 minutes. No word on what caused the fire.
