New Minimum Wage Nears
A pay raise is just days away for more than 400,000 Pennsylvania workers.
Effective January 1st, Pennsylvania`s minimum wage will increase to $6.25 an hour.
It will increase to $7.15 an hour on July 1st.
The increase was approved and signed by Governor Ed Rendell back in July.
It is the first increase in Pennsylvania`s minimum wage in nearly a decade.
