Flu Season Not So Bad (So Far)
Flu outbreaks are typical for this time of year, however area hospitals are saying this year seems to be a bit out of the norm. Hospitals are still seeing a variety of respiratory and gastrointestinal viruses, however doctors are saying flu season has been a bit on the slow side. One E.R. doctor at Hamot Medical Center says he would like to believe it`s the fact that folks are out getting their vaccinations which physicians say is the single, best way to protect yourself against the flu.
