Benefit held to build Erie Skatepark
Several dozen kids were flipping tricks on their skateboards at Forward Hall tonight.
Its all part of a benefit to build a public Skatepark in Erie. Admission was just ten bucks for an adult and child.
The 300-thousand dollar skatepark would be a 10-thousand square foot concrete skate park. Skate Erie Association is looking into three locations, but will only disclose one site, east 12th street under the Bayfront connecter. Organizers hope to have the skatepark up within the next year to two years.
