Volunteer Fire Depts Practice Ice Rescue

Rescue teams with Edinboro and Lake City Fire Departments had a tough assignment Saturday. Battling the cold and whiteout conditions, they went under water practicing ice rescue missions. 17 rescuers were trained at the Edinboro Lake on how to properly use their equipment and assist men, women and children. Edinboro firefighters completed two rescue mission last year. They warn skaters, snowmobilers, and ice fishermen to be careful on the lakes this time of year.
