Presque Isle Downs to Open Feb. 28th

The wait is almost over. Officials from Presque Isle Downs learned Friday afternoon that they`ll be able to open for business February 28th. Officials with the casino`s owner - MTR Gaming - now say they will concentrate on doing the required testing on the slots machines. The original February 15th opening was delayed by a court challenge and a vacancy on the state Gaming Control Board. MTR`s president says he`s relieved to be moving forward. There will be two testing days on the 24th and 26th, with proceeds benefiting the United Way.
