Frigid temperatures and deep snow made things difficult for firefighters battling a house fire in Corry this afternoon .
The fire broke out just before four at a home on Mead Avenue.
Volunteer firefighters from four companies were brought in to extinguish the blaze -- which heavily damaged the second story of the house.
