Oil City Streets Flood After Ice Jam

An Oil City street is under water tonight and some businesses are closed after an ice jam caused major flooding. It happened Friday afternoon on Seneca Road in Venango County. Officials say the street is drenched in about a foot of water. The ice started to move down Oil Creek, and it caused a back up on the roadway. Its been more than 20 years since ice jams caused flooding in Oil City.
