Erie Golf Course

Attorneys fighting the sale of the Erie Golf Course are now hoping a judge will order the city to reopen it. An injunction was filed in Erie County court Thursday by attorney Rick Filippi. Filippi is requesting the course be reopened. He also wants the city to be removed as the trustee of the property. Filippi claims the city isn`t properly maintaining the course, thus destroying a taxpayer asset. A hearing is expected to be scheduled next week on the matter.
