Ice Out Party Helps S.O.N.S
A spring ``ice out party`` attracted hundreds of people for a good cause. The S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie
Fishing club held its 26th event of its kind this afternoon. Its all to benefit the fisheries of Lake Erie, Presque Isle,
Bay and support public access. More than 300 people showed up at the event. Once the folks got inside the ice party, they were treated to
food and door prizes. Officials with the fisheries club say they raise up to seven-thousand dollars a year. The S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie
Fishing Club gave away a 2007 All Terrain Vehicle worth five-thousand dollars.
