Sandy Beaches For Presqe Isle
It looks like sand is finally coming to the beaches of Presque Isle State Park. Officials tell us Governor Ed Rendell supports the release of 800-thousand dollars in funds to replenish the sand on Erie`s beaches. Although the state is reviewing the paperwork, officials say there is no doubt that Presque Isle will get the funds. However, even with the money being released, the bad news is that contractors may not be able to begin dispersing the sand until July at the earliest.
