E.coli Study

E.ColiA group of environmental experts gathered Monday to help local officials figure out what's causing the E.coli problem at Presque Isle. The bacteria caused the closing of Presque Isle beaches numerous times last summer. Now, seven partners have joined forces to conduct research to find out why. Monday, experts came from other cities along the great lakes to help shed some light on the situation. It appears to be a very complex situation. A number of research projects have been proposed for next year so hopefully they can get a better handle on what's causing the E.coli in our waters.
