Murkens Case Still Murky

Animal CrueltyDistrict Attorney Brad Foulk has scheduled a news conference for Tuesday morning to announce whether charges will be filed against the woman who had 31-animals seized from her property last month. Last night, the district attorney said he still hadn't decided whether he will file animal cruelty charges against Yvonne Murkens. Murkens told Action News 24, through a friend, that her attorney reached an agreement with the district attorney's office Monday afternoon. She also says she is going to get her animals back, but the foster families are first being given a chance to adopt the animals for a reduced fee.
