Take Back the Night

GannonLocal students rallied against violence Monday night with their annual "Take Back the Night" march. Participants began the walk at the Perry Square gazebo with a prayer for those affected by the inhumane killings Monday morning at Virginia Tech. "Take Back the Night" began in 1978 and its purpose is to raise awareness about violence against women. Those who take the time to educate others about the problems that arise with domestic violence say it's difficult to handle the news of a heinous act such as Monday's campus massacre.
