A routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust Wednesday in Venango County.
Franklin State Police stopped a car for running a stop sign at the intersection of Seeley Avenue and Washington Avenue.
The trooper then requested for a drug dog from Franklin City Police.
The dog hit on the car forcing a search on the driver, 41-year-old Clifton Mcloud, and his passenger, 24-year-old Jennifer Silvis.
They found 223 stamps of heroin and about $4,000 on Mcloud.
They found another 20 heroin stamps in Silvis clothes.
Silvis was arraigned on charges of possesion and intent to deliver.
She was placed in Venango County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Mcloud is in Venango County Jail on a parole detainer and is awaiting similar charges.
