East 4th Street Fire

The Erie Fire Department is investigating a basement fire on the cities east side that broke out Thursday morning. They were called to a home at 335 East 4th Street shortly after 1:00 Thursday morning for a fire in the basement of the house. Apparently it happened in the laundry room. Some clothes and objects went up in flames, but fire officials were able to contain the fire quickly. Everyone was able to get out of the home. Officials are investigating the cause of that fire.
