The driver of a motorcycle was killed Saturday evening after colliding with a car turning onto Interstate 90. Traffic was stopped at the light on Peach Street near the Westbound on-ramp when the driver of the car, was reportedly waved on by another driver stopped at the light. As he entered the intersection, the southbound motorcycle passed by the car. That's when the bike and car collided, throwing the driver and a passenger onto the pavement. The driver died at Hamot Medical center. The female passenger was also injured. She was also taken to Hamot Medical Center. A State Police accident reconstruction team is investigating.
