An ROTC instructor at McDowell High School accused of sexually molesting a student has resigned. Robert Shearer II submitted his resignation to the Millcreek School Board. His resignation was accepted by the board on Monday. Shearer was suspended without pay after he was arrested in June. He is charged with one count each of indecent assault and corruption of minors. Shearer says he plans to fight the allegations in court. No reason was given for his resignation. During Shearer's preliminary hearing in november, numerous students came out to show their support
