
State Education Officials stopped by Wednesday Erie to discuss standardized test scores. Members of the Pennsylvania State Board of Education and the Pennsylvania Achievement Gap Effort; better known as The Page One Initiative, toured strong Vincent high school Wednesday morning. The point of the trip was to assess the PSSA interventions that have been implemented in raising academic achievement levels. School officials say their success in raising scores came from a true team effort. Brasington says the entire district has put a lot of effort into raising test scores.
