watch video
Two people were hospitalized Monday night after a motorcycle accident in Washington Township. Police say neither biker was wearing a helmet. State Police say 27-year old Willfrado Ruiz was driving at a high rate of speed westbound on Route 6N with 20-year old Andrea Jiminez on the back of the bike. Ruiz lost control and ran off the road for more than four-hundred feet. Police say the bike hit a dip in the ground, which threw the bike and both riders into the air and over Draketown Road, with all three landing in a field. Jiminzez and Ruiz were taken to Hamot Medical Center with moderate injuries. Police say Ruiz also faces charges because he wasn't properly licensed.
