Former McDowell Principal Charged

Former McDowell Intermediate Principal Thomas Maciulewicz.was in Erie County Court Wednesday afternoon.

Maciulewicz was initially charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking and 12 counts of theft by deception after stealing synthesizers and other items from the Millcreek School District and then selling them on eBay.

He pleaded guilty to only one count of theft by unlawful taking.He'll be sentenced next month. Maciulewicz resigned as principal of McDowell intermediate school in September.
