Franklin Woman Sentenced

EmbezzlementKristal Ann Clark pleaded guilty to three counts of mail fraud and three counts of income tax evasion back in January.

Thursday, Judge Sean McLaughlin sentenced her to 70-months in a federal prison, plus 5-years of supervised release.

In addition, she'll have to may more than 3-million dollars in restitution The IRS and FBI say Clark doctored client records at Parker Hunter incorporated in oil city and also tampered with the firm's computer financial records between 1995 and March 2005.

She'll now go to Alderson federal prison in West Virginia; that's the same prison where Martha Stewart did time.
