watch video
BurglaryPennsylvania State Police are investigating a string of burglaries Thursday morning in McKean. Two men are in custody, but they didnt surrender without a chase through some nearby woods. The first call came in around 2:15 Thursday morning. When police arrived at Fry Road and Van Camp Road they spotted two men in the area. Police chased the suspects into some nearby woods, but it didnt take long to flush them out. A police helicopter was put on standby, but it was not needed. One of the suspects was put in an ambulance, and his hands were handcuffed behind him. Its not clear yet why he required an ambulance. Police continued to search the area around a number of houses. Theres no word yet if any of the homes were broken into or what, if anything, was taken. Police said theyll have more information once they get things sorted out.
