Bicycle and Car Collide

A morning bicycle ride ended with a trip to the hospital. Girard paramedics were called to Tannery Road Hill just after 9 a.m. Sunday morning. 41 year old Steven Wychock was riding his bicycle along Tannery Road when a car, driven by 24 year old Evan Russell of Girard lost control on a curve and slid into cyclist. He flew off the bike and slammed into the hood of the of the car. He was treated for leg injuries. Russell will be charged with charged speeding.
