Girard State Police are investigating a theft at one Fairview business Sunday night. Police say the theft happened sometime between 5:00 p.m. Sunday night and 4:30 a.m. Monday morning. Employees at Thayer Power and Communication Line Construction Company said that several pieces of equipment were missing when they came to work Monday. They are missing a 2002 yellow Honda Foreman ATV, a 1990 Ditch Witch trailer, a Stihl chain saw, and a Stihl gas-powered drill. They also believe the thieves used a company pick-up truck to haul the stolen trailer and ATV, and then returned it. If you have any information please contact Girard State Police at (814) 774-9611.
