And the 2007 Woman of the Year Is...
The Women's Roundtable is an organization dedicated to women, and Wednesday night they honored who they feel to be the best of the best.
The coveted "Lucy" award was presented to the 2007 Woman of the Year at their 20th anniversary event.
Five finalists were presented, Wednesday... all women who've dedicated their lives to making a difference. But only one can be the 2007 Woman of the Year. That woman is Dr. Judy Smith.
Smith is the executive director of the Children's Advocacy Center. Since she took the position in 2002, Dr. Smith has dedicated herself to making life better for thousands of abuse victims in our community.
Smith was up for the award against other women who've demonstrated their dedication to the community as well. All five finalists were recognized for their contributions and achievements , but in the end Smith was announced as the big winner.
