Active Zone

Summer break for students is quickly approaching but that doesnt mean children should take the time off to sit on the couch when there are so many activities going on right here in Erie. Today officials introduced students to the summer passport program at the Presque Isle State Park and learned what they can do to stay active over the summer. Over 450 students participated in various activities such as scavenger hunts, fishing, hiking, and playing on the beach. To get involved in the summer passport program at Presque Isle pick up a passport at the Blasco Memorial Library, TREC, or the Erie County Department of Health.
