Train vs. Truck Accident

watch video
A short cut home turned out to be quite a mistake for a young man Tuesday night.

Nick Heise says he was his way home from a haircut just hours after returning from college.

He was anxious to get home, so he tried to drive around a set of barriers near the king road railroad tracks in harborcreek. He didn't make it.. and his truck got caught on the tracks.

When he realized he wasn't going to be able to drive his truck off the tracks, he saw a train's approaching lights and got out of his vehicle.
Heise's truck was destroyed from the impact of the train.. but luckily, he is got out just in time.
