Tree Damages Cars in Lawrence Park

Heavy winds caused some problems for residents in Lawrence Park Tuesday night. Strong winds knocked down a tree along Rankin Avenue in Lawrence Park around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night. The tree fell on top of one truck. Branches on the tree scratched up several other cars. Several residents heard the tree fall and alerted the fire department. Fire crews arrived on scene with chainsaws to cut the tree down.
