After a day off, it will be back to class for Wattsburg students. The teachers union and the school board have reached a tentative agreement. After several hours of negotiating, the two groups reached a contract Tuesday night. Although the parties won't release any details at this point, retroactivity on salary and healthcare were the two major issues. Wattsburg schools superintendent, Frank Bova, says both the teachers union and the board worked diligently to keep students on track and in school. The kids were off Wednesday, however classes will resume Thursday. Graduation will be delayed one day. The ceremony will take place June 8th.
