watch video
It's national safe boating week... And waterways officers are out making sure you're playing safe. Last year there were 25 boating fatalities statewide. Already... This season alone... There have already had five. Over the course of the week... Emergency officials will be stressing boating safety awareness... Of course... Have life jackets and other safety supplies readily available in case of an emergency. Crews will be patrolling the waterways all weekend... So make sure your boat is up to regulation
