Each year Edinboro University and Jet-TV recognize one very special teacher with the teacher of the year award.
The selection process is never easy.
The Edinboro Education Department has narrowed the field of nominees down to five golden apple award-winning finalists.
The event is being held at the Ambassador Banquet Center. Students nominated their teachers right here on YourErie.com and many have won Golden Apple Awards.
But at Tuesday's big dinner we finally get to find out who is the teacher of the year. The event features five distinctive and inspirational stories of teaching.
This is the last time Edinboro President Dr. Frank Pogue will present the award.
