watch video
Six seniors from the Barber National Institute got a chance to get their hands dirty Wednesday and brighten up the surroundings of a Millcreek apartment complex.

Residents from the Lakeside Senior Center at the Barber National Institute joined with seniors of the Apple Blossom Senior Community to beautify their neighborhood.

Seniors from both communities planted flowers and plants around the apartment complex.

Officials say both groups enjoy being involved with the community and working together on a joint project where everyone can see the results of their efforts.
