Mayor for a Day
Payton Taylor is only 10-years old, but Friday she served as Erie's honorary mayor for a day. She and her two sisters held a fundraising auction at the Lake Shore Country Club and earned the chance to stand in for city officials. Taylor's siblings spent the day the police chief and fire chief. Payton said learning to be mayor was fun, but alot of work. She said the most fun part was sitting in the mayor's chair. She said she doesn't see politics in her future.
