Thomas Black Found Guilty Of Shooting Ex Wife

September 18, 2012-- A jury has reached a verdict and an Erie man accused of shooting his ex wife has been found guilty of several charges including aggravated assault and attempted criminal homicide.

Police say 36 year old Thomas Black and his ex wife got into an altercation back in March.

It started in the 400 block of Liberty Street, that's when black forced her at gunpoint into a vehicle.

Then police say he shot her in the back and she fell out of the vehicle.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 14Th.
