As the Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation makes strides toward curing cancer, they are adding laughter to the list of remedies, at least when it comes to their faces2012 conference.

The foundation announced today that award winning comedian and 20 year survivor of osteosarcoma, Scott Burton will be the featured closing speaker at faces2012, which is being held at the end of October.

The event will kick off with an opportunity to meet the researchers.

The foundation says this is an important platform to share the foundations work and mission.

The conference is October 26th and 27th at the Ambassador Center.

Despite some public backlash, conservative radio host Glenn Beck will also be at the conference.
