watch video

43 days before the Presidential Election... A poll conducted by the Mercyhurst Center for Applied Politics tells us that President Obama is leading rival Mitt Romney here in Pennsylvania..

Doctor Michael Federici tells us that the president is leading in all the polls as of this point...

This years' presidential debates are going to be critical...in such a close election, it could be the difference between winning and losing.

MCAP took a poll among 522 voters in Pennsylvania...

It finds that President Obama is up a solid eight points in the polls, leading Republican opponent Mitt Romney.

The MCAP tells us if the election were held today 48% of voters in Pennsylvania would vote Obama...while another 40% would vote Romney...

6% of people are still undecided...

The 8 point gap confirms Obama's hold on Pennsylvania.

Doctor Joseph Morris, director of the MCAP tells us that people who support Governor Romney said they would only vote for him because they oppose President Obama.

But is Pennsylvania important to this election?

Doctor Morris tells us that Pennsylvania is normally a swing state, but it could be solidly democrat if Obama wins this state.
