Senate Candidate Sean Wiley Resonds To Opponent's Latest Ad

watch video

Some might consider the latest television commercial for PA Senate Candidate in the 49th District Janet Anderson, negative campaigning.

But is it fair to place the blame on her opponent Sean Wiley for unemployment and economic statistics during his time as Director of Administration for Erie County.

Wiley says its deceiving to the voters. Anderson says she's focused on making comparisons between her and her opponent.

Ms. Anderson's misleading ad is an insult to the voters of the 49th Senatorial District. Interestingly, the same 'statistics' about unemployment could be cited against Ms. Anderson, who actually held a position responsible for economic development. Of course that would be unfair as well. The severe economic downturn during that time was macroeconomic. To lay it at the feet of a County administrator is ridiculous.
