Vigil Held In Clymer For Slain Superintendent

Just days after a Clymer School Superintendent was found dead outside of his home ... The community came together to honor his memory...

The United Methodist Church in Clymer was packed tonight... Residents and friends of Keith Reed say they're still shocked that something like this happened to one of their own.

    In such a tight knit community, it's still hard for many people to grasp what happened here over the last few days...

    51 year old Keith Reed was found shot to death outside of his home in Clymer New York.

    Chautauqua County sheriffs tell us that Reed was last seen alive Friday....Sunday he was reported missing, and Monday...investigators found his body.

    But what you see now... Is a community that is embracing one another during this tragedy.

    This prayer vigil in honor of reed is meant to lift up the community... Because everyone we talked to in the small town of Clymer, says reed at one point, lifted them up.

    But some are still worried, that something like this happened in a town where everyone knows everyone.

    And even though there are no suspects in custody...residents want to continue to remember the life of reed... And are hopeful police will find whoever ended it so abruptly.

No arrests have been made at this point... An autopsy was conducted Tuesday morning to determine how many times reed was shot... We're still waiting on those results.

We're told that the calling hours for Keith Reed was also tonight... His family was there with him this evening.
