YMCA Basketball Raises Funds for Scholarships

SEPTEMBER 30, 2012-More than 100 people hit the basketball court for a good cause today.

The YMCA of Erie County hosted the first annual three-on-three Highmark Downtown Showdown.

Teams of all ages competed in this challenge.

The event was created to get the community active and help raise scholarship funds.

The YMCA hopes to raise $8 thousand dollars for the "We Build People" scholarship program.
