October 3, 2012--The owner of a Greenfield Township campground was ordered to jail today by an Erie County Judge.

Moon Meadows owner Thomas Peckham was in court this morning where Judg Shad Connelly ordered he be taken to the Erie County Prison for failing to close the campground.

In 2011 the Department of Environmental Protection investigated the campground with water service connection concerns and a judge ruled Moon Meadows was not in compliance.

Since then Peckham kept the campground open.

The judge is expected to finalize his ruling later today.
