Teachers are using TurningPoint, a student response system which allows students to submit answers to interactive questions using a response card keyboard or "clicker". The teacher can then see which students are answering correctly and which ones are not. The program also allows all students to answer without fear of embarrassment if they answer incorrectly. Only the teacher can see the answers the students submit.
He or she can then determine what information needs to be gone over again, or what students can use extra help.
Studies show that TurningPoint transforms the classroom into an interactive and engaging learning environment, increases attendance and classroom participation.
