Fairview High School Program Helps Students Learn
Teachers at Fairview School District are equipped with tools to help students better perform this year.
Teachers are using TurningPoint, a student response system which allows students to submit answers to interactive questions using a response card keyboard or "clicker". The teacher can then see which students are answering correctly and which ones are not. The program also allows all students to answer without fear of embarrassment if they answer incorrectly. Only the teacher can see the answers the students submit.
He or she can then determine what information needs to be gone over again, or what students can use extra help.
