Local Reaction To Presidential Debates

watch video

It's the first of three presidential debates President Obama faces off against Republican nominee Mitt Romney...

Both republicans and democrats here in Erie tell us they think the race will be close... But these debates could be Romney's last chance to make it that much closer.

Experts say this first presidential debate is a very important event... It's one of the final dramatic moments prior to election night, and that's why all eyes are on President Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Political science professor at Gannon University Dr David Kozak tells us Romney has to shake things up to get people's attention... And Obama needs to show his experience.

He says the undecided will be watching and this could be a turning point to get those voters to choose Obama or Romney.

Dr Kozak says Romney can use this debate as a springboard, because the past shows that the less experienced candidate can prevail.

He also tells us that this one is by far the most important because it's a true test as to who can actually handle this job.

A true test as to who can actually handle this job??? Well, we sure know it can't be Romney, who outsources jobs to foreign countries, and invest's his monies in other Countries and NOT the USA!!! Maybe the President had a headache or something...listening to Romney gives me a headache also...
