October 4, 2012--The alleged bank robber known as the Bucket List Bandit pleads not guilty in federal court Thursday.

Michael Brewster is accused of robbing the Huntington Bank on West 12th Street back on September 10th.

Today he waived his right to a detention hearing in front of federal judge Susan Paradise Baxter.

He was apprehended in Oklahoma just days after the alleged Erie robbery.

It is believed that the 54 year old Florida man robbed a number of banks across the United States.

He apparently got his nickname because he reportedly told a bank teller he only had months to live.

Brewster was brought to Erie by US Marshalls and will be jailed at the Erie County Prison before being taken to the Northeast Ohio Correction Center where he will await trial.
