35th Annual March For Diabetes From Erie To Pittsburgh

watch video

Do you think you could walk 100 plus miles from Erie to Pittsburgh?

What if it was for a good cause?

These three gentlemen will be walking route 19 south to Pittsburgh to raise money and awareness for diabetes research.

This is the 35th year for the Veterans March for Diabetes.

It will take the crew about 3 days to make it from Waterford to the North Hills of Pittsburgh.

Following the crew on wheels is Bob Mandera who got involved after his daughter was diagnosed with the disease when she was only 5 years old.

Mandera says last year $21,000 was raised for research.

They are hoping to raise more this year.
