Former Penn State Coach Sentenced

October 9, 2012:

Jerry Sandusky, the ex-Penn State University assistant football coach convicted of sexually abusing children, was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison.

Sandusky, 68, appeared today before Common Pleas Court Judge John Cleland wearing an orange jumpsuit and white sneakers.

The hearing in state court in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania came almost four months after he was found guilty of abusing 10 boys over a 15 year-period.

He was convicted on 45 counts.

I'm thrilled one way that he FINALLY got sentenced, but am sad in another that, this is all he got after all of the pain and anguish he caused all of his victims!! HOPEFULLY they can continue to heal inside over all that was done to them from this horrible man!!Many prayers and blessings to all the victims and their Families and friends...REMEMBER...you did NOTHING wrong, it was Jerry Sandusky who was WRONG in doing what he did!!!
