Erie County District Attorney Files Motion In Ebert Beeman Case
October 10, 2012-- Erie County District Attorney is asking a judge to make a ruling when it comes to whether or not Ebert Beeman will remain an Erie County Councilman.
Jack Daneri filed a Motion For Judgement on the Pleadings on Wednesday afternoon in Erie County Court.
Daneri filed the motion and said he feels the judge has all the documents necessary to make a ruling and that the facts are not being disputed.
Beeman was convicted of a felony and is currently in federal prison for social security fraud.
Erie County Judge DiSantis ruled earlier this year that Beeman is a convicted felon but still has to decide if the crime was infamous and worthy of removing him from office.
