Protesters Expected This Weekend In Harrisburg

10:11:12 - Between 500 and 600 people are expected to converge on the State Capitol this weekend and several days next week to spotlight what they call the national crisis in medicare and the lack of home and community based services.

The event is being organized by "ADAPT", a national advocacy group that organizes disability rights activists to engage in non-violent action and civil disobedience.
  Nearly 2 dozen people from Erie are expected to participate  in the protest that will begin Saturday and continue through Wednesday.
  
Several people from Voices For Independence will make the trip and will make sure their voices are heard.
